Q: How can I log in to ShulCloud?

A: You will receive an email inviting you to log in and create/update your profile. We strongly recommend that each adult in your household take the time to complete this step when first accessing the new system. It will ensure that all payments and donations will be readily categorized and properly attributed. For multi-adult households, you will need to designate someone as the head of household.

Q. Do my spouse and I each have our own account?

A. Every household has one account, while each adult in a household has a separate login using their email address and password. One person in the family must be designated as the primary contact on the account, but both adults may be given full access permissions to the account. If you need help with setting up your login, changing the people on your account, or changing the primary contact or access permissions, please contact shulcloud@templeshalommedford.org. Each adult needs to have a unique email address. If 2 or more people have the same ShulCloud email address, NONE of them, including you, will receive any emails from the system.

Q. Do I need to use ShulCloud?

For some items, such as school registration, we will ask that you use ShulCloud to register. If you do not have computer access or are not comfortable using ShulCloud, you can interact with the office as you have in the past.

Q: I forgot my password.  What do I do?

A: On the login screen, click the ‘Forgot Password’ button. ShulCloud will send you an email prompting you to set up a new password. If you have admin permissions to access other parts of the site, your permissions will be deleted for security reasons. Please contact shulcloud@templeshalommedford.org to have your permissions reset.

Q: What if I never received the email inviting me to create my profile?

A: Please email shulcloud@templeshalommedford.org, and we will send you a new email invitation. Links in the invitation are valid for 7 days.

Q. How do I change the email address I use to sign in?

A: Sign in to ShulCloud. Under ‘My Account’ click on ‘My Profile.’ Type in a new email address in the ‘Login Email’ field.  Click ‘Save Changes to Person’ at the bottom of the screen.

Please note-: Each email address can only be assigned to one person. When there are duplicate emails in ShulCloud, the system will fail to send email to that address at all.

Q: ShulCloud doesn’t seem to be working correctly on my computer. What do I do?

A: ShulCloud works best on Chrome, Firefox or Safari browsers. Please use one of those browsers.

Q: ShulCloud isn’t working for me, and I am frustrated.

A: We appreciate your patience as we roll out this new software. Our staff will provide support to help congregants learn to navigate the new system. If you have questions, please contact shulcloud@templeshalommedford.org.

Q. What if some of my information is incorrect?

Many fields are accessible for members to edit. If you see a field that is incorrect and are not able to fix the error yourself, please contact shulcloud@templeshalommedford.org.

Q. Can you show me how to use ShulCloud with visual step by step instructions?

A. Yes!  Please click on this link to see complete instructions with screen shots.

Q. Where is the online Member Directory?

A:  After logging in to ShulCloud, click on ‘My Account.’ Scrolled down to the section named ‘My Personal and Family Information,’ and click on ‘View my Directory.’  You can search for other members or view your own information. Only Temple Shalom members will have directory access.

Q: How do I determine what information is shared in the online Member Directory?

A: After logging in to ShulCloud, click on ‘My Account.’ Under ‘My Personal and Family Information,’ click on ‘Edit my Directory.’ You can choose to hide selected elements of your directory listing, or choose not to appear in the directory at all. You will be able to edit your personal information, including address, phone number, family relationships, and more.

Q. Who can see my information within ShulCloud?

A: The Temple Shalom/Six Acres Nursery School/Camp Six Acres ShulCloud system is only accessible to families in our congregation, nursery school, and camp. The only people who can see your financial information are you and the financial team that process payments.  Likewise, the Temple Shalom online Member Directory is only accessible to Temple Shalom members. Each family unit will be able to control what information is visible in that directory.

If you are registered for nursery school, camp, or religious school, the directors and system administrator will be able to access your registration records. Teachers may be given access to class lists, etc.

Q: Can I use ShulCloud to make donations or payments?

A: Yes! You will be able to make donations, pay your membership dues, and register for events and classes directly from the website, as well as specify where you would like your funds to be applied. In addition, you will have the option to either use a charge card or ACH (eCheck). In certain cases, you will be allowed to register for an event and bill it to your account to pay later.

Q. Will I be charged fees for payments by credit card or ACH (eCheck)?

We do not charge processing fees for online payments. For Temple Shalom dues and Hebrew School tuition, the congregation voted to approve a 3% discount if paying by check instead of online. To use this option, select Bill to Account and pay in the office by check or cash as you have done in the past.

Q. Can I use recurring payments?

Yes! You can set up a recurring payment when you go to make a payment. Please note that the recurring payments must be completed by the EARLIEST due date of all charges for that payment. You may set up more than one recurring payment. If you need to change a recurring payment, please contact shulcloud@templeshalommedford.org.

Q: Is my credit card on file secure?

A: All information entered on your website account and the payment page is sent over an SSL encrypted connection.  (No payment information is stored on servers owned by ShulCloud or Temple Shalom/Six Acres Nursery School/Camp Six Acres.)

Q: Can I change my credit card on file or add a credit card on file?

A: Yes, at any time, you can add an additional credit card to your saved payment methods. You can do so by logging into your account and selecting, ‘My Account’ > ‘My Financial Information’ > ‘My Payment Methods.’

Q: What if I do not want to make payments online?

A: You may continue to mail checks to make payments. If you choose to send checks, we ask that you allow up to 1 week for payments to appear on your account. Please be sure to note any payment due dates and allow time for mail. We have found delivery times to be longer than usual recently.

Q: How do I check my account balance?

A: Log in to ShulCloud and select ‘My Account.’ Under ‘My Financial Information,’ click on the ‘My Transactions’ button to see your account balance. Please keep in mind that payments made by check may take up to 2 weeks to appear on your account.
